Tirelink - HTTP/ HTTPS images

In the past 5 years, internet security has grown increasingly important.

Many browsers have responded by encouraging websites to add SSL security. SSL security makes websites appear at https://www... rather than http://www...

You may have seen http:www... websites shown as "not secure" or "unsafe".

THE GOOD NEWS is that your Tirelink 2.0 uses SSL security, so your site will protect your customer's security. Your Tirelink 2.0 site will contain the https://www prefix.

THE BAD NEWS is that if you have previously mapped http://www... images for products on Tirelink, these images may not display on your Tirelink 2.0 site. This is not determined by the Tirelink 2.0 site, but rather the browser that your site is viewed on.

To ensure your uploaded product images and manufacturer logos display on your Tirelink 2.0 site, it is recommended that the images be stored on a site that has the https://www... prefix.

Your Tirelink 2.0 site allows you to upload images directly to the website

Images you upload to your Tirelink 2.0 site will contain the https://www... prefix and will display properly when your customers are viewing products. To see how to upload images to your Tirelink 2.0, see the link below:
