ZipWhip - SMS texting

As of 2021 we have added "bridge" support for ZipWhip, a 3rd party SMS texting service.  Once activated, you can launch ZipWhip SMS texting directly from the Contacts screen.  ZipWhip will launch and use the phone# selected on the Contacts ListView.  

Likewise, the ZipWhip app can be loaded on your workstations and if configured for alerts, your PC will alert you when you get an incoming SMS text via ZipWhip to any and all workstations that are running the ZipWhip app.   

You can also load the ZipWhip app to your smartphone and send and receive SMS text messages to your phone.

ZipWhip supports using your company's main phone#.  Research indicates that consumers are frequently texting your company's phone, but unless you are configured to use your company phone# with a 3rd party SMS service like ZipWhip, you never know that your customers are trying to reach you via text.
